Our friends at Kawaii Kon have teamed up with Windward Mall for an anime-themed fun-filled day at the mall and you’re invited! Join us as we bring a slice of Kawaii Kon to the Windward side.

Check out all of the activities available (for free!) that day.

Cosplay Runway – A showcase of costumes by dedicated cosplayers. Come and see their cosplay creations on stage.

Tetris Tournament – Test your skills at block-stacking at the Tetris Tournament, sponsored by the Hawaii Video Gaming League.

Art Activities – Join Pen & Ink Works with some fun art activities throughout the day.

Photo Booth – Take some funny pictures of yourself at MangaBento’s photo booth table.

Community Table – Kaneohe Public Library will be joining Anime Day to showcase their collection of anime and manga available at the library.

Kawaii Kon Booth – Have you purchased your tickets yet for Kawaii Kon? No? Stop by and get a special Anime Day price for Kawaii Kon 2013.

Games Games Games – Throughout Anime Day, we will feature several simple interactive games where participants can win some free cool swag.

Anime Theater – A selection of some of our favorite anime shows will be played throughout the day for your viewing pleasure.

Vendors – Anime Day will have a mini area open for you to browse through artist vendor tables with their goods and hand made items for you to buy.

Stamp Rally – In partnership with several of the mall vendors, there will be a stamp rally tour at Anime Day. Complete your stamping sheet that day for a chance to win prizes, including a free pass to Kawaii Kon 2013.

Bring your sketchbook and draw the day away alongside other passionate artists. Our Sketch Meets are free and open to all ages. We ask that children under 12 are accompanied by a parent or guardian.


Are you an anime artist in grades 6-12? Then be sure to enter your work in the Liliha Public Library’s 3rd Anime Art Contest!  Simply drop off your artwork at the library on 1515 Liliha St. before December 31st. Prizes include an amazing spread of art supplies and software. First 100 entrants will receive a free manga instructional booklet.
