Bring your sketchbook and draw the afternoon away alongside other passionate artists.

Join us at our new location at the Honolulu Museum of Art School located at 1111 Victoria St., kitty corner from the Museum on Beretania St. We’ll be in room #101 (Makua/Mountain side of the building)

Our Sketch Meets are free and open to all ages. We ask that children under 12 are accompanied by a parent or guardian.

More than 230 people showed up for the McCully-Moiliili Public Library’s Mini-Con 2012!  Pen & Ink Works members talked with many young aspiring artists about their work.  It’s great to see how energetic and vibrant the manga art community of Hawaii truly is.

Senior P&IW member Tara Tamayori gave an amazing show of her inking skills as a part of her in-depth art demonstration.  Please check out a few photos from the event below:

Our friends over at Comic Jam Hawaii are meeting on the 1st and 3rd Sundays this month at Pearlridge Uptown.

Comic Jams are a social get together of local artists (professional, aspiring, and hobbyist). We do collaborative cartoons, illustrations, and sketches while talking story. All abilities levels are welcome, all we ask for is for participants to have fun and join in where they’re comfortable. These are very informal get togethers. Drawings are collected at the end of each session and scanned into our Facebook Group page.
